Intermediate Hurling

We played Aherlow in our second championship game in Dundrum on Saturday evening last and came away with a vital win. The final score was 4-12 to 1-14.Well done to all players and management for commitment and effort to date.

Cul Camps

Our GAA cul camp took place last week for all juveniles in the club. Even with the poor weather great commitment was shown by all and everyone enjoyed themselves. A word of praise to everyone who helped out and supported.

Sympathies

The club wishes to extend its deepest sympathies to Michael Ryan (D) and the McCormack family on the recent passing of Kitty McCormack. May she rest in peace.

Lough Gur ramblers

The Lough Gur ramblers are a traditional session and set dancing group who run a trad. session in the Honey Fitz Theatre Lough Gur on the first Thursday night of each month all year round and set dancing for fitness and fun on every Monday night of the school calendar year. We also entertain the senior citizens of a number of surrounding parishes on various occasions such as Christmas etc. all of which we do totally free of charge. These we finance by running an annual dance which we have on in the Millennium Centre Caherconlish on Friday night next July 15th with music by Declan Aungier.
