U14 Ladies Complete the Double

The Sarsfields ladies have won a league and championship double confirming that they are the best team in their division.
The team were presented with the league shield after their final league fixture against Corrinshego. Tracey Kelly from the Armagh Ladies county board came from Darcy to present the trophy and thanks to her for that. The trophy was presented to team captain Niamh McAliskey
This team is comprised of players, both from Derrytrasna and Derrymacash. Ladies from St. Enda’s Camogie Club can come to Sarsfields and play football, whilst Highmoss ladies can play camogie at St. Enda’s. This arrangement has proved to be very successful and both clubs have benefited greatly from the sharing of players and players from opposing ends of the parish have been made most welcome. The most important thing though, is that local ladies have the opportunity to play both codes.
