Kevin Quigley was strong on the ball and in the tackle, he was a good link between defence and attack, his foot passing was a highlight in the second half, accurate quick passes directly to men moving into dangerous positions. Eugene Murray was creative and produced slick passing. Sean Mackin caught the eye for lively movement and close control, he was a handful to contain, Cathal Byrne produced a polished performance with three points. But the man of the match must go to Patrick Murphy with a personal score of 2-5, he was unstoppable especially in the first half.
