Report:
The weather was warm and humid but then game was slow to get going. Ballivor seemed to settle and led at half time by a single point after some well taken scores. In the second half, ballivor appeared to have the upper hand and at one stage led by 5 but gaeil Colmchille staged a late rally and managed to force the game to extra time. Some may have felt that Ballivor had blown their chance at that point but they emerged much stronger and dominated the extra time and finished the game with a 7 point margin. Well done to the team for getting another of our young teams to a final this year – we wait to see who our opposition will be and hope that we have a good crowd from the village to wave the Maroon and White on Final day.
