Coach Mary Logue today has announced her selected 18 to travel to Nivelles in Belgium to represent Ireland in the European Youth Nations Championships 2009 from 6th to 11th July. Of the five Connacht players who were selected, Greenfields are very proud to have three representatives on the squad. Congratulations & the best of luck to Brenda Flannery, who Captain’s the team, Katie Codyre & Dora Gorman.
Pairing back her squad to just 18 was not an easy task for Logue who commented ‘Following difficult decisions given the quality of players in the training panel, I am very pleased to announce the squad of 18 that will travel to Belgium England in Manchester and against Scotland in Dublin
