This was a wholehearted performance by the young Clonmore team in Fenagh on Sunday night. After going in 0-10 to 0-4 behind at the break, a great second half comeback reduced the margin to just 2 points on 45 minutes (0-13 to 1-8), with points from Tom Pollard(2) & Francie Whelan and a penalty expertly converted by Francie after Matt Cullen was up-ended in the square. Unfortunately, Bagenalstown pulled away in the dying minutes. Hard luck lads but for such a young team you can be very proud of your efforts.
