U21 Hurling
Our u21 hurlers who are joined with Solohead as a combination played the first round of the u21 west championship on Saturday last against Rockwell Rovers but were unfortunate not to come away with a win. We were defeated on a scoreline of 2-10 to 0-13.
We play Lattin-Cullen in Round 2 and all players are encouraged to attend training with Eamonn Sweeney whenever scheduled.

The Shamrocks GAA club wishes invite members from clubs all over the country to participate in the Shamrocks GAA All Ireland Table Quiz which will be held in the Tullamore Court Hotel on Thursday the 1st of September 2011.The Shamrocks GAA Table Quiz provides the opportunity for teams from all over the country to come together and compete in a social setting. The Tullamore Court Hotel has been chosen for the quality of the hotel and the ease of access, just off the M6 motorway. The entry fee is €200 per team (4 people) and entry is confined on a first come first served basis.1st Prize of €2000 and match tickets to the Guinness All Ireland Hurling Finals and a 1 night stay in the Tullamore Court Hotel.2nd Prize €1000.3rd Prize of €500.
