The Kildysart Ladies team took to the pitch this week v Coolmeen and we unlucky to lose by 2 points.  There was a strong breeze during the match and while the girls had a substantial lead at the break, they weren’t able to sustain it in the second half.  See https://sites.google.com/a/gaa.ie/kildysart-gaa-clare/match-reports/u12ladiesloseby2points for match report.  The girls have their first home match v Banner  on Thursday 4th April and would welcome your support.

The club is holding a Poker Classic on Friday night 5th April in the Corner Bar in aid of field development.  Tickets are €20 when bought in advance and €30 on the night.  So if any of you are poker enthusiasts, we’d love to see you on the night.

Also, Kildysart Community Focus is holding a Fashion Show on Friday 12th April to raise funds for an Astro Turf facility in Kildysart.  This facility would be a benefit to Kildysart GAA club for training and will be a big plus to the community as a whole.  Great night’s entertainment guaraneteed and great value at only €10 a ticket.

Today, 3rd April, Kildysart U16’s play their first match of the season in Division 3 opener away to the West Clare side of Naomh Eoin so we wish them well.  The U12’s also have their first match on Sunday 7th April at home v N.
