Camogie News:
U12’s. The U/12s brought the curtain down on another very successful year for Nenagh Camogie Club by winning the U/12 A County Final against Burgess last Saturday in the Ragg. The Club has now a clean sweep of titles from U/12, U/13, U/14 and

U/16. This team has trained very hard all year and with a lot of the girls also playing with U/13 and U/14 teams that won County Finals, we were expecting great things.  They delivered on these expectations last Saturday in what was a fantastic game of Camogie. Nenagh started well and K Morris got a fine goal after five minutes. There were some fine passages of play from both sides with defenses very much on top. Close to half time Burgess scored a goal from a dipping free to leave the scores level at the break. The second half started the way first half went with scores hard to come by despite the excellent skill on display. As the half wore on Nenagh began to win more ball around mid-field and keep the pressure on the Burgess defense. That pressure resulted in C Browne scoring an excellent goal to put us ahead. A goal is a dangerous lead and we knew we needed another score and upped stepped our Captain Rachel O’Connor to score a fantastic point to seal the win on a score line of 2-01 to 1gl. While we just about deserved to win we must give credit to Burgess for their part in this excellent and sporting Final. Well done to Greg, Liam and Philip for all the training and hard work put in with the panel throughout the year. Thanks to the ladies for their help with training and matches. Lastly, thanks to the girls for their efforts this year. A lot of these girls won Schools, Community games, U/13 and U/14 finals this year but there is nothing like the feeling of winning the County Final in your age group with all your friends that you have played with since u/8.
U14s. TheTipperary County U/14 medal presentation is on this Saturday at 8:30pm in the Abbey Court.
Well done and also best wishes to the Schools teams that are playing at the moment. The Convent won the first year Blitz last week. The Junior team is out this week and the Senior team are through to the Munster S/final. There are a lot of Nenagh girls on these panels and it is great to see them doing so well. Also, best of luck to the Nenagh Minor Hurling team in the upcoming County Final.
