Under 8: Eire og U8s hosted Ahane last Saturday and performed very well, training continues on Wednesday and we travel to Roscrea on Saturday.

Under 12: U12 Eire Og hurling team competed in a tournament in Na Piarsaigh Limerick last Saturday. Teams from Limerick, Cork & Clare competed & Nenagh came out on top in a closely contested final against Cratloe. Taurai Shayanewako accepted the cup for the victorious team & Sean Ferry received the trophy for nenagh's player of the tournament.

All Ireland cups: Many thanks to our Éire Óg Tipp stars Barry Heffernan, Daire Quinn, Jake Morris and their senior and minor teammates for bringing great excitement to Nenagh schools on Friday with the visit of the Liam McCarthy and the Irish Press cups. Well done to Paudie Malone GDA for organising the day and to the teachers and pupils of the schools for the wonderful welcome shown to the players who have brought us such enjoyment this summer. It was a day to remember for all involved.

Junior A Following the postponement of our Junior A North Final, a coin toss was held on Sunday deciding that Nenagh Éire Óg would progress to the County quarter finals as North Champions. The North Final against Kiladangan will take place as soon as a date can be arranged. We play Ballybacon Grange at 2:30 p.m this Saturday in Holycross, in the Quarter-final of the County Championship. We would encourage anyone who can make it to come and support the lads.

Sympathy: It was with terrible sadness that we learned of the passing of Mrs. Jane Devaney, nee Morris on Thursday last. Nenagh Éire Óg lost one of it's most passionate supporters, who will be greatly missed. We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the Devaney and Morris families.
