Club Development Draw: The Nenagh Eire Og Adult, Juvenile and Camogie committees have come together this year to launch a club development draw. Receipts from this draw will go to support games development, improve coaching standards and help finance the ongoing development of club facilities, in particular the upgrading of the main pitch. The star prize on offer is €5,000 with numerous other valuable cash prizes. Tickets costing €25 each will be on sale shortly with the draw taking place as part of a club social event on Friday 30th March 2011.

Presentation night: Our presentation night for all successful 2011 adult teams will take place on Friday 2nd March at 9pm in the Complex. Medals will be presented on the night to our successful 2011 teams – Minor hurlers, Junior A hurlers and Junior C hurlers. A buffet will be served on the night and all are welcome to attend as preparations continue for another season full of activity.
 
Reunion: The club will honor and celebrate its successful minor teams (1977,78) and u21 teams (1979,80, 81, 82) who won 6 county final in a row at a function in Andy’s at 9pm on Friday 30th March. These celebrations will coincide with the drawing of the grand prize for our club development draw and  there will be a buffet and music on the night.  This promises to be a special social occasion for the club and all are welcome to attend.
Harty Cup Final: Best wishes to James Mackey, Donnacha Quinn, Killian Gleeson, Sean Geaney, Kevin Gubbins, Dean Ray, Gary Howard and the Nenagh CBS team as they take on Colaiste na Deise on Sunday at 2.30 in Cashel.

Membership: Club membership for 2012 is now due and can be paid to any club officer or online at www.nenagheireog.com. Fees are Adult €25, Under 18 at 1st Jan €25. Family membership A (1 Adult + multiple u18s
) €60 and Family membership B (2 Adult + multiple u18s ) €85.


Juvenile news
Helmets:
The juvenile club will have a stock of medium size helmets available within the next few weeks for €35 per helmet. These helmets are generally suitable up to 12 years old, details at training.

U6 & U8: Training will resume this Saturday February 25th at 10.00. New hurleys will be available on the day at €10 per hurley for this age group.
 
U10: Continues indoors on Wednesdays 5.30 to 6.45 and on Sundays, check with management for time on this Sunday.
U12: Training will resume Saturday March 3rd at 10am.
Courses: A level 1 hurling coaching course will take place shortly. Contact Phil Hennessy for details.
Gaeltacht: Coiste Chontae Thiobraid Árann is offering a limited number of Gaeltacht Scholarships to 2nd level students in the county. These Scholarships are limited to those students currently in 2nd, 5th and Transition Years. Please contact Geraldine Quinn at 085 2411328 by this Saturday February 25th.


Camogie News:
U8s
are back indoor training on Wednesday, 22 of February from 5:30 to 6:30.

U10’s will be back training on Mondays. Trainers will notify you with times and dates. Please bring both runners and boots.
 
U12’s. The U/12s are now back training indoors on a Monday Evening. All new members welcome. Please Contact Greg or Philip for details. Reminder that membership forms have to be returned.
 
U14s. The U/14s are back training on Saturday mornings.  Trainers are sending out texts  about weekly indoor training.  All membership forms should be returned at training.
 
U/16: Training is back on a Monday with Louise and Mickey McNamara. Texts are being sent out and please let trainers know of your availability.
The junior b and minors will train in the running track on Tuesdays 8:30 to 9:30. All interested are asked to contact Enda O’Sullivan at endaos@hotmail.com. New members are always welcome and also it would be nice to see some old faces back again.

Our registration night is on Friday 24 of February from 6pm to 8pm in the Nenagh  GAA Complex. Parents are asked to attend and get your child registered for the year. Any child not registered is not insured to play for the Club.
