U16: We defeated Toomevara last Saturday in Cloughjordan in a hard fought North Final by 2-19 to 1-11.  With the strong breeze, Toomevara went into a 5 point lead midway through the 1st half. The boys rallied and were behind by 1 pt at half time, 9pts to 8. Toomevara started the 2nd half strongly and got an early goal which seemed to spur our lads on and they got some great scores to run out winners in the end. Mike Flynn  presented the Mick Prior cup to Nenagh captain James Mackey for what was our 13th North U16 title and our 6th in 7 years. Well done to mentors Con Morris, Greg Browne and Michael McNamara for their great work with this team. Attention now turns to the County Semi final, a big improvement is needed if we are to overcome Durlas Og, see fixtures, club webtext will also issue details.
