SHC: Our seniors drew Eire Og Annacarty in the next round of the county championship. This game takes place on the 11th of September.

MAHC: Our minor hurlers defeated Lorrha last Wednesday evening to qualify for the North final. The north final takes place Thursday evening at half 6 in Cloughjordan and Toomevara will provide the opposition.

JBHC: Our junior B team defeated Toomevara last Saturday evening by 2 points and this win puts us through to the semi final. The final group game against Newport will take place next weekend.

All-Ireland final: Best wishes to Paddy Murphy and the Tipp team as the take on Kilkenny on Sunday in the All-Ireland final in Croke Park.

U10: We held our annual blitz on Saturday last. Having won our 3 group games, we defeated Borrisokane in the Mikey Hallinan memorial final after a close game. In the C&C Fabrication final, Ahane defeated Portumna. We would like to thank the Hallinan Family and TP Sullivan for their kind sponsorship. Many thanks also to Michael Hallinan and TP Sullivan for refereeing the games and to all the parents that supplied and helped with food. U12 Go Games: We will play in Semple Stadium at 5pm sharp on this Friday September 2nd versus Moycarkey Borris. Please come and support the boys.

U14: The County semi final against the Mid champions will be played on Saturday September 10th. Drom & Inch or Durlas Og will be the opposition.

U16: The North semi final is currently scheduled for Tuesday September 6th, the opposition will be Newport/Ballinahinch or Kilruane.

County teams: Congrats to all our players that represented Tipperary last weekend. Shane Hennessy was on the U14A team that won the Tony Forristal competition in Waterford by defeating Cork in the final by 0-11 to 0-6. Anthony Walsh and Gavin O’Connor were on the U14B team that reached the final but were defeated by Cork. We were represented on the U15 teams by John Cahalan, Andrew Coffey, Conor Ryan and Philip Hickey, the U15A team reached the Plate final but were defeated by Limerick by 1pt. We were represented on the U16s by Barry Heffernan, Killian Gleeson, James Mackey and Donnacha Quinn, the U16As reached the semi final but were defeated by Cork. Adam Gratton was our representative on the U17 team. Well done also to Paul O’Leary who was on the successful U16 Tipperary Football team.
