Senior Hurling: We play Carrick Swans in the county championship on Sunday next at 3:30pm in Holycross.

Junior Hurling: Well doen to our Junior hurlers who gained two more league points with victory over Templederry last weekend.

Under 8: U8s hosted a hurling blitz against Burgess and Toomevara last Saturday morning. Nenagh had a great turnout with close to 40 players present. All kids had 4 games each with some great hurling on show, a very enjoyable morning was had by all. Next Saturday we travel to Toomevara for a go games blitz with 2 other clubs in attendance also.

Under 12: Hard luck to our u12 footballers who lost out in the county final on Monday night. U12 training continues as usual this week with the championship fixed for bank holiday weekend.

Under 14: Our U14 hurlers lost out to an impressive Kildangan side in a challenge game in McDonagh Park last Monday night. It was a very encouraging second half performance from our squad on the night with plenty of room for improvement. All our players played at least a half. Our first championship match is provisionally fixed for June 7th in Nenagh. Opposition for this game still has to be confirmed. Well done to Jamie Kennedy who attended county hurling trials at the weekend. We also wish Taurai Shayanewako a speedy recovery from his recent injury. Well done also to Dermot McTiernan on a fine display in goals as part of the Nenagh CBS team who were defeated by Thurles CBS in the recent Rice Cup Final.

County Board Draw:

The recently launched 2017-2018 Tipperary Draw, continues to be a source of huge financial benefit to the Nenagh Eire Og club and our initial fund raising project to turn this plan into reality is to increase our membership of the Tipperary clubs draw.

With a magnificent prize fund once again and with a commission coming back directly to the club of 50% up to 200 members, 60% for members between 200 and 300 and 70% for members over 300, the Tipperary clubs draw represents the ideal mechanism for all people with an interest in Nenagh Eire Og to support our activities on and off the field.

The New Draw has plenty to offer in terms of prizes and  if you have not already signed up, we would ask that you consider doing so by responding to this email or online at Sign up online for 2017/18
