Congratulations: Well done to Barry Heffernan and Andrew Coffey who were members of the Irish U21 Shiny team that defeated Scotland at the weekend.

U21 Hurling: Our under 21hurlers return to action this weekend in a must win game when they face Toomevara in Templederry at 12 midday on Sunday. Come out and support the lads.

Healthy Club project: Michael Geaney, Eire Óg Healthy Club Project chairman, represented Nenagh at the Health and Well Being Conference in Croke Park last Saturday. The sessions from the excellent talks and workshops will be up on the GAA website in a couple of weeks time. Well worth checking out to see the work being put in by all involved in this project.

Under 12:Our U12 team took part in a tournament in Mungret on Sunday. We played teams from Mungret, Doora, Barefield and ClareCastle. The boys all played very well. Strength and conditioning training starts this Wednesday 6 – 7 pm. Please bring boots and runners as this training is both indoor and outdoor. Thanks to all the boys for their work all year and hope to see you all at training on Wednesday.

Camogie:

Intermediate: On Saturday our intermediate team are bidding to make history as we face Drom & Inch in the county intermediate final. It is a remarkable achievement to get this far in our first year competing at this grade. We have been playing adult camogie since 2009 when we first entered the Junior B championship and have made steady progress up the ranks since then. The game takes place at 12pm in The Camogie Grounds, The Ragg and we hope the girls get the deserved support from all in the club. Best of luck ladies.

Minor: Best of luck to our minors who are facing Éire Óg Annacarthy in the minor A shield final on Monday. We have no other details of this fixture at the time of going to press. Please check our social media channels for details of this fixture.

End of Year Party: Our under-8s and under-10s had their end of year party with Adventure World over the weekend. We wish to thank their mentors Michelle Ryan, James O Dwyer, Joe O Donovan and Ciaran Morris for all their hard work over the year. The under-12s, under-14s and under-16s will be having their end of year party on Thursday evening with bowling and a visit to Supermacs on the cards. Mentors will be in touch with the details.
