Minor: Our minors hurlers are scheduled to play Toomevara on Wednesday evening at 7:45 in Kilcoleman.

Junior A: Our Junior A’s return to action this weekend when we meet Kilruane on Friday evening at 7:30pm in Puckane.

Golf Classic: The Nenagh Eire Og GAA Golf Classic will take place on Friday 12th August in Nenagh Golf Club. Format is a team of 4 “champagne scramble' format with entry at €140 per team. Contact Seamus at 0862525805 for timesheet.

Juvenile news

Under 8: U8 training continues Wednesday and Saturday with matches organised for later in the month.

Under 14: Hard luck to our U14 hurlers who were beaten by a strong Roscrea team last Wednesday evening. We play Kilruane tonight (Wednesday) at 6.30pm. All support welcome.

Under 16: The U16 hurlers travelled to Puckane on Monday last for their Round 2 encounter with Kildangan. The Blues led by 4 points at the break, but the home team fought back to secure a draw on a scoreline of 2-14 to 2-14. The lads had a Round 3 home game against Kilruane on Monday night last. Report next week.

Camogie News

Under-12: the girls played both Burgess and Roscrea during the week and recorded good wins. Well done ladies.

Under-13: We face Shannon Rovers in Nenagh on Monday evening at 19:30pm in Nenagh.

Under-16: On Saturday last we played Éire Óg Annacarthy and were unfortunately defeated. Hard luck ladies.

Tipperary: Congratulations to Rachel Maher, Alanna Morris, Sarah Quigley, Hazel McAuliffe, Grace O Brien and the Tipperary intermediate side who captured the Munster title last week with a great win over Cork. The five girls have written themselves into the history books as they have become the very first players from our club to win this particular title with Tipperary. Well done ladies from everyone in the club.
