U8: Our U8s travelled to Ahane on Saturday and performed very well. Many thanks to Ahane for hosting. Training continues Wednesday with more matches planned for June.

U14: Our u14 team opened their championship campaign last Wednesday evening with a defeat to Toomevara. Although the result didn't go our way the lads put in a very encouraging performance.

Feile: Attentions turn to the Feile this week, we are in Group D along with Roscrea, Naas and Dicksboro who we are hosting for the weekend. Our first game starts at 4pm Friday vs Naas in McDonagh Park. All support and help over the weekend would be greatly appreciated.

Handball: Nenagh Handball Club have the honour of hosting the Féile na nGael Division 1 Boys Handball competition on Saturday June 18th, welcoming Galmoy from Kilkenny, Tuamgraney from Clare and Monaghan Harps. First match is scheduled for 10.30am and will continue through to the final at 5pm. We will also host the Girls Division 1 final at 4.45pm on Saturday. All are welcome to come along to enjoy this great occasion for the club.

Camogie Club:

U8: The u 8s took part in a county blitz at the Ragg on Saturday and Nenagh took 2 teams to the event . Ciara Johnston the county development officer has been organising these events and they have been a great success . The Nenagh Eire  Og ladies won 5 out of the six games playing very well indeed and most importantly enjoyed themselves thoroughly.

U10: The u 10 and u 12s travelled together to play Burgess and had a great morning playing together coming out of Kilcoleman with a great win

U14: The u 14 team are continuing their preparations for the Feile this weekend. Tipperary Minor player Jake Morris took the training session on Sunday morning and the girls enjoyed training with him. The planning for the weekend of festivities is ongoing with Nenagh hosting  Bunclody of Wexford and the many other clubs that are staying in the locality. The club have organised a race night on Friday night in The Hibernian Inn followed by music fby Mike Healy and Vincent Savage to open the weekend. The club would like to thank the Hibernian Inn for sponsoring the Tracksuit tops and Pat Carey refrigeration for the polo tops .the games for the weekend are Friday 17 June Ballinderry Nenagh  Eire Og v Lucan Sarsfields at 4 and Nenagh v Shannon Rovers same venue at 5.45 and on Saturday Nenagh v Bunclody at 11.30 . Further fixtures will be on the Nenagh Eire Og Facebook page depending on how we do. We would encourage all parents and indeed grandparents to attend the events and games of the weekend as the Feile is known for the fun and friendships formed for life.
