U21 hurling: Hard luck to our u21 team who were defeated by Burgess last Saturday in the north final. A big thank you to the management and players for their efforts throughout the year.

Club AGM: The AGM is fixed for Thursday 15th Dec at 8pm in the Complex. There will be Mass for deceased members at 7.30pm. The juvenile club AGM is on Tues 6th December at 7.30pm.

Camogie News: 2011 has been a year of Historic achievement for the players of the club. The club had two excellent end of year presentation nights over the last two weeks. The Juveniles and the Junior B team were rewarded for their years achievements in the Abbey Court recently when the County Final u 12 A medals were presented to the team making it the clubs first A trophy and the Junior B team also created Club History when they picked up their Munster Junior B winners medals the first Adult competition win for the club. The club also presented special trophies to Cíara McGrath ( who won All Ireland minor medal and was first Nenagh Eire Og Camogie club player to play senior Camogie for the County) Alanna Morris and Aileen Duggan were also presented awards from the club for winning U16 Munster and All Ireland medals. The three Girls then picked up their medals at a wonderful Tipperary Camogie presentation night at the Templemore Arms with Liz Howard doing a great job as M.C for the night. To finish off the year Nenagh Eire Og Camogie club were well represented By Cíara McGrath Alanna Morris Aileen Duggan Rachel Maher Cliodhana Curren Holly O Brien Judy Mulqueen and Catriona O Connor on the St Mary’s Secondary School team that won the Senior A Munster Championship last weekend after a titanic struggle with St Flannans of Ennis (the first such win since 2000). These girls have the honour of being the first players from the club to win a Senior A Munster championship. The club would like to thank County chairman Joe Cahill for taking time out from his busy schedule to present the medals at our presentation night and to Gerry Dullea for his wonderful leadership with the St Marys teams.   2011 was indeed a historic year for the club.
