Weekly club news:

Co SHL: We had our third successive win in the league on Sunday evening last when we defeated Thurles Sarsfields on a scoreline of 3.17 to 1.20. Our next game will be against Upperchurch-Drombane at home on Friday evening. Check county board fixtures for more information.

MFC: Hard luck to our minor footballers were defeated by one point in the championship against Roscrea last Thursday evening last. Our next game in this championship is against Borris-Ileigh.

U21C: Our U21C team we beaten by a single point in the second round of the championship on Friday night last against Ballinahinch. Our final game is against Moneygall. Check North Board fixtures for details.

Defibrillator Course: A reminder that the defibrillator course will take place in the complex on  Wednesday and  Thursday this week between 7pm and 11pm. First Aid course will be also ran in the coming weeks.

Community Games U11 Hurling.

The U11 hurlers interest in this years Community Games ended on Saturday last, when they were defeated by a stronger Templemore team. TEAM; Dane Ryan,Rory O’Donovan, Evan Murphy, Conor Sullivan, Fiachra Starr, Mark O’Farrell (capt), Mark Carey, Barry Coffey, Conor McCarthy,Ross Glennon, Sean Shanahan, Conor Hennessy, Cian O’Farrell, Aaron White, Stephen Hallinan. Subs used; Sean Phelan, Niall Higginbotham & Conor Robinson.

U14 Football Nenagh Eire Og v Silvermines in Dolla on Wed. 21st in Dolla.

Congratulations to Anthony Walsh who played Primary game on Sunday last at the Tipperary v Offaly game in Tullamore. Congratulations also to Barry Heffernan (Captain) Donnacha Quinn, Killian Gleeson, James Mackey and Michael Collins who played with North Tipperary in the U15 Divisional competition last Sat. They were victorious,competing firstly against South Tipp. and then Mid.Tipp in the final. Barry Heffernan was presented with the recently donated Roger Ryan Memorial cup.

Camogie Club News

The Under 12 teams got their respective championships underway at the weekend. The A team beat Silvermines on Friday night in Nenagh with some fantastic displays from a very committed team. The B team lost out to a more experienced Portroe team and again there was some very encouraging displays from a very committed team who are showing great levels of coaching. The u 14s start their championship on Monday night 19th April against Thurles in the Ragg. Well done to Rachel Maher Zoey Gratton Alanna Morris and Coleen O Brien who represented Tipperary In an u 14 inter county blitz in Rathkeale last Saturday . Tipperary lost narrowly to Cork in the Final. Thank you to all the organisers for a great day. Rachel Maher was a busy girl at the week end and she also lined out for Tipperary Primary Schools Side against Offaly on Sunday in Tullamore doing her school proud. The best of luck to Caira McGrath and her team who contest the All Ireland semi final against Kilkenny in the Ragg on Saturday at 1 o clock. The other semi final between Cork and Galway takes place afterwards in the Ragg at 2.30. It should be a great display of skill and commitment and deserves great support from all that can make it. Training for all teams continue as normal.
