This is our second North U14 A championship in succession with a hard earned win over a gallant and sporting Newport/Ballinahinch team in Nenagh on Saturday last. Many thanks to the mentors who put in a fantastic effort with this team, namely Robbie Ryan, Eamon O’Brien, John Manley and Christy McLoughlin. Thanks also to Noreen Ryan who provided first aid cover on the day and to all who helped with the meal for the panel after the game. A special mention to team captain Aodhan Geaney who provides great leadership to this team. Preparations now begin for the County semi final against the West champions which will take place in September.
