We play Milltown in our first Senior League game of the 2007 series; it will probably start in mid April. We are in Division 1A of the league which comprises of the top ten Senior teams in the county with the other ten in Division 1B. We also have the Division 1B league final for 2006 to play which may be played in early March.
The following are our Club Hurling Championships draws for the year: Intermediate Annaghdown, Cappataggle, Oranmore-Maree, Clarenbridge, Tommie Larkins. Junior ‘C’ Annaghdown, Ballygar, Ballindereen, Carnmore, Tommie Larkins and Cappataggle. We play Abbeyknockmoy in the Under-21 ‘B’ championship. In the Intermediate League we are grouped with Tommie Larkins, Ballinasloe, Cappataggle, Killimor, Tynagh-Abbey- Duniry, Rahoon-Newcastle, Ahrasagh-Fohenagh and Moycullen. Our Intermediate hurlers are out this Sunday against Ahascragh/Fohenagh in the first round of the league with the game taking place in Ahascragh at 12noon.
