Community News

Annaghdown Parish Council will be holding a public meeting in Corrandulla Hall on Wednesday 24th January at 8.30 p.m. to discuss proposals to build a new community centre for the parish.

The views and suggestions of all interested parties and individuals are most welcome, indeed essential, to ensure that the new centre can be designed to meet the specific needs and requirements of our growing and vibrant community. It is envisaged that the new building will serve as a centre for a broad spectrum of community activities: clubs, youth facilities, services for the elderly, childcare, events and functions, exhibitions, etc. The advice of architects, engineers and others who may be able to lend practical help or assistance to the project would also be very much appreciated.
