Under 21: Clonakenny/Moneygall have been drawn to play Thurles Sarsfields in the mid Under 21 A hurling semi final. Details of the date and venue for this fixture will appear on our website when known.

AGM: This year’s AGM will be held in the GAA Centre on Friday 23rd November and all members are encouraged to attend. Any nominations for officer roles or selector positions should be submitted in writing to the secretary before the deadline of Tuesday 20th. Alternatively members can email their nominations to moneygallgaa@gmail.com, or can complete a nomination form which can now be downloaded from this website.

Club Social: Many thanks to all who attended our social night in The Thatched Cottage in Ballycommon last Friday night. Thanks also to those who contributed to the organising of the event and to those who sponsored spot prizes. The quality of the meal and musical entertainment were both of a high standard which made for a hugely enjoyable occasion.

Sean Gael Awards: Congratulations to John Gleeson who has been announced as one of the recipients of this year’s Tipperary Sean Gael Awards. John played at corner back on the Tipperary team that beat Kilkenny in the 1971 All-Ireland Final and was full back on Moneygall’s county championship winning teams of 1975 and 1976. John will be presented with his award this Sunday afternoon at the presentation ceremony in The Dome in Semple Stadium.

Tipperary GAA Draw: We are now past the midway point of the 2012/2013 draw year and the club had two prizewinners in the November draw last Friday night. Congratulations to the Burns family, Emmill, and to Tom Dwyer, Moneygall, who each won €500.

Fitness Classes: A kettle bells exercise class will begin in the main hall of the GAA Centre on Tuesday evening next at 8pm. The class will be led by instructor Kenny McDonald and is open to all members of the public. The class will run every Tuesday evening and will cost €7 per night.
