* As the Clubprepares for 2014 we will be approaching people to help with Coaching and wouldask members to think very seriously about this and please reply positively. Wehave 27 teams within our Club which provide games for all ages in all codes. Asyou can appreciate it takes a huge pool of resources to run these teams soagain please do what you can to help us out. We will also be appealing toparents to help out in whatever way they can in terms of transport etc. Anyoneinterested in coaching or helping out please contact John O’Neill on07711737610.

* Congratulationsto Anna Rogan and Aoife Keown who were named in the Colleges All Star CamogieTeam for 2013. Anna plays her Colleges Camogie with St Malachy’s High School inCastlewellan and Aoife with the Assumption Grammar in Ballynahinch. Both girlswho are normally team mates squared off against each other in a recent UlsterFinal which Assumption Grammar came out tops. Also in the news lately SorchaMcCartan was part of the St Louis Team Kilkeel who won an Ulster Camogie titlejust before Christmas. Well done to all three schools in their endeavours andin representing your county so well.

* It was good tosee two Castlewellan men in the shape of Michael Cunningham and Aidan Broganinvolved in the McKenna Cup with Queens University in their Universities matchwith Armagh. Unfortunately they were on the wrong end of a four point on whatwas weather wise the worst possible day to be playing football.
