Co SHL: Our SH match against Moneygall in round 1 of the county league was called off on Sat due to the Moneygall pitch being unplayable. This match will now take place on Thurs 17th March at 12 midday in Nenagh. We also play round 2 this weekend when we meet Templederry in Templederry on Sunday.Time TBC

U21B hurlers play Ballina on Sat 19th March at 3pm in Portroe.

SCOR Na Paisti: Best of luck to all our contestants who take part in the North final which is being held in Newport on Fri 18th March at 7:30pm. Solo Singing: Eva McKeogh, Ballad group: Sinead Long, Maire Long, Sarah Kennedy, Susan O’Hara, Orlaith Kennedy. Question time: Fiona Hennessy, Sean McTiernan, Daniel O’Donovan.

Club membership: Membership is now overdue and must be paid to any club officer or on-line at www.nenagheireog.com


Juvenile Club:
St Patricks Day: The Juvenile Club will take part in the parade on Thursday, meeting at the CBS Primary School at 2pm sharp, please wear club colours if available. Parents to collect children from the Railway Car Park immediately after we finish the parade.

Summercamp: Our annual summercamp is scheduled for  the week of 18th to 22nd July.

Training: Training for U6, U8 and U10s take place on Wednesdays at 5pm and Saturdays at 10am, all new players welcome.

U16: We defeated Kilruane MacDonagh in Nenagh in the 1st round of the Football championship, we have a bye this weekend with the next game versus Ballina on Saturday 26th.Juvenile Registration night: Wednesday March 30th from 5.30 to 7.30, details will be given at training. We will have a limited supply of medium size helmets for sale on the night at €40 and we will also sell hurleys on the night at a reduced cost.


Camogie Club:
U8’s training every Tuesday 5.30 – 6.30 please bring outdoor and indoor training gear.

U10’s training every Tuesday and Friday 5.30 – 6.30.

U12’s training every Tuesday and Friday 5.15 – 6.30.

This year the County board will be organizing Go Games for the U8’, 10’s and 12’s.

U14’s training every Tuesday and Friday 5.15 – 6.30.

We held an U14 blitz at the weekend in Nenagh CBS school grounds, we would like to thank Liam Mellows Galway City, St Judes Dublin and Burgess for taking part.  We had three competitive games winning 2 out of the 3.  A big thank you to all the parents who provided the food and refreshments and we would also like to thank the CBS for allowing us use there facilities.

The U16’s training Monday and Friday 5.15 – 6.30.  The first match in the championship is fast approaching.  We need all girls to attend training.

U18’s and Junior B’s had a great training session last Saturday morning in the hurling alley.  This adds to the training in the Athletics complex facilitated by Ray Deering and Sean Finn.  This specialized training will stand to the girls for the season and is very much appreciated by the players and management.  We hope to commence outdoors training mid week from next week.  Players will be notified via text message of all training sessions.  Our opening league is against Shannon Rovers in 2 weeks time, it is important that everyone makes a huge effort to attend all training sessions.
Speedy recovery to Alice Darcy who is recovering from injury.  Best of luck to Gemma Morris and Danielle Harrington who are attending Tipperary Trials at the moment.  The best of luck to Aileen Duggan and Alanna Morris who are in the Tipperary Squad for their game against Derry this weekend.  The County Board are running a monthly draw to raise much needed funds.  Tickets can be purchased from any committee member. 

All memberships are now due and the club would encourage members to pay as quickly as possible.  The Club is taking park In the St Patricks Day parade on Thursday 17th March.  All girls are to meet in the CBS primary school (Summer hill side) at 1.40 pm wearing our club colours.
