It was a great evening for two Kinvara lads last Sunday. Captain Shane Kavanagh and Colm Callinan helped bring league honours to Galway hurlers against Cork hurlers. Well done to both lads on their own performances too. Shane actually won Man of the match, and I think Colm was not too far behind with some tremendous saves.
The Cup was brought back later that night and thanks to Mike for helping with the celebrations!

Kinvara U16 hurlers, under the guidance of Noel Bermingham and Michael Bermingham, recently played a challenge in Lorrha, North Tipp. They then continued down to Thurles and watched the league final. The lads thoroughly enjoyed the game, and you could see about 20 of them mobbing around clubman and captain Shane Kavanagh on the final whistle. It was a wonder he got to lift the cup at all.
Final note is to mention the kind hospitality shown by the members of Lorrha GAA. They played a sporting game and then made sure that our lads were well fed and watered before they left for Thurles.
