Dundalk Youths will face Athlone Town in the Ferrari Cup final at the AUL Complex on Sunday 13 May.
The game is a repeat of last year’s League Cup decider between the sides at U17 level, which Athlone won 2-0 thanks to two late goals.
The young Lilywhites made it through to the final on Sunday following a 2-1 extra-time victory over Saint Joseph’s/Bray Wanderers, having beaten UCD/Mount Merrion and Malahide United in the previous rounds.
Dundalk have already played Athlone twice in the league this term, beating them 2-0 at Oriel Park in September before losing a two-goal lead in a 2-2 draw in the midlands in March.
Meanwhile, Alan Browne’s side have been drawn away to Stella Maris in the Leinster Youth Cup semi-finals, a tie which is set to take place on Sunday 15 April.
