Sunday Night Quiz

The Sunday Night Quiz got off to a great start on Sunday 28th September to a packed house with guest question master PJ Maquire who chose as his theme ‘the world financial markets’ which came as a great shock to the teams of contestants who were expecting simple questions along the lines ‘who starred in
the Quiet Man’ and what northern team won this year’s senior All-Ireland Football Championship’Hosted by different Club members every week, the next quiz will commence at 9pm sharp on Sunday 5th

Club notes

Comiserations to the O’Rahilly’s U16 Hurling team that were beaten in the B championship final in Kilclief on Sunday by a strongly fancied Bredagh side. They conceded 2 early goals but fought back well and entered half time 2 points up but Bredagh rallied and had the advantage of a strong breeze in the second half and ran out winners 2-11 to 3-5.

Thirds win RFC final

This was Castlewellans first Adult Mens Championship win since 1995 when they won the Senior Championship after beating Downpatrick in Newcastle to win back to back titles.
