Lotto

Club lotteries have been a regular part of fundraising efforts at sports clubs in Ireland for decades and Clubforce (as locallotto.ie) became the online home of club and society lotteries over 10 years ago. The Clubforce system allows clubs to sell lottery tickets online to club members at home and abroad. Members can enter multiple draws at once and receive automated emails with lottery results and club news.

This online lottery service is included as part of the club’s overall subscription to Clubforce and can be run in-tandem with offline lottery or run exclusively online.

More information on your club lottery including lottery results will be displayed at a later date.

Intermediate team win in O’Mara Cup. Mayo Gaels 2-10 Shrule/Glencorrib 2-7

Our intermediate team got their O’Mara Cup campaign off to the perfect start with a win over Shrule/Glencorrib in Abbey Park on Sunday morning. Goals by Kevin Lynch and Adam Gallagher were the key scores. The Gaels lead 1-5 to 1-4 at halftime and maintained their good form in the second half to finish three point winners on a score line of 2-10 to 2-7. They are away to Claremorris in the second round of the O’Mara Cup next Sunday at 12pm.

Bord na nOg Presentation Night/2012 Registration

The Bord na nOg will hold their Presentation Night for 2011 and registration for 2012 in the Mayo Abbey Resource Centre next Sunday evening at 5pm. All underage players are asked to attend and Register as the cut-off date is March 31st

Intermediate team beaten in O’Mara Cup. Claremorris 2-12 Mayo Gaels 0-3

A beautiful spring morning in Claremorris was the setting for the second round of the O’Mara Cup on Sunday morning. Unfortunately our intermediate team could not follow up on their good start to the competition last week as they suffered a comprehensive defeat to the locals. A slick Claremorris side picked off scores at will and the result was never in doubt from a long way out.
