Club lotteries have been a regular part of fundraising efforts at sports clubs in Ireland for decades and Clubforce (as locallotto.ie) became the online home of club and society lotteries over 10 years ago. The Clubforce system allows clubs to sell lottery tickets online to club members at home and abroad. Members can enter multiple draws at once and receive automated emails with lottery results and club news.
This online lottery service is included as part of the club’s overall subscription to Clubforce and can be run in-tandem with offline lottery or run exclusively online.
More information on your club lottery including lottery results will be displayed at a later date.

A place in the O’Mara Cup semi finals will be at stake on Sunday next when our intermediate team travel to Cong to take on The Neale in the final round of the O’Mara Cup. As The Neale have a superior scoring difference a draw will be suffice for them but the Gaels require a victory to seal a place in the knockout stages. Thrown in is at 12pm so please support the lads.

The 2012 league fixtures have finally been announced. The league kicks off for both our intermediate and junior teams on the weekend of March 31/April 1. The first round of the leagues sees both teams on the road with our intermediate team travelling to Louisburgh and our junior team travelling to Bangor to take on Kiltane. The 2012 underage league fixtures have been announced. The minor team begins their campaign on the road on Sunday March 25th away to Kiltimagh at 12pm. The U-16 team begin their campaign also on the road on Sunday March 18th away to Kilmovee at 12pm. All other U-16 fixtures will be played on Tuesdays at 7pm. The U-14 team begins their campaign at home to Ardmoy on Thursday March 29th 6:30pm. All U-14 fixtures will be played on Thursdays at 7pm. See the Fixtures page on www.mayogaels.com

The draw for the 2012 intermediate championship took place in Breaffy House on Monday night. The Gaels were drawn in Group 4 where they will face Bellmullet, Hollymount/Carramore and Moy Davitts. Fixtures have not yet been finalised but the first round will take place on the weekend of May 25/26 with the Gaels away to Hollymount/Carramore. Round two sees another away fixture in Belmullet with the final round at home to Moy Davitts.
